2026 WOMEN’S FIH NATIONS CUP SQUAD HAS BEEN NAMED

Hockey New Zealand has named the Vantage Black Sticks Women squad set to compete at the 2026 FIH Hockey Women’s Nations Cup in Auckland next month.

The tournament will take place from 15–21 June 2026 at the North Harbour National Hockey Centre, bringing eight international teams to New Zealand for the country’s biggest international hockey event in nearly a decade.

“It’s an exciting time for hockey in New Zealand. Opportunities to host international tournaments on home soil don’t come around often, so it’s a great occasion for both the players and fans.” Said Head Coach, Phil Burrows.

The Vantage Black Sticks Women enter the tournament as defending champions after claiming the 2025 Nations Cup title and will now look to go back-to-back on home soil in front of New Zealand fans.

Phil Burrows is looking forward to seeing his group react under tournament pressure.
