2026 FIH NATIONS CUP - CAPE TOWN
The Vantage Black Sticks Men are set to return to the international stage at the 2026 FIH Hockey Men’s Nations Cup in Cape Town, South Africa, as they look to secure a third consecutive title.
Taking place from 11–20 June 2026 at the Hartleyvale Hockey Stadium, the tournament brings together some of the world’s top-ranked teams outside of the FIH Pro League.
The Vantage Black Sticks Men have been drawn into Pool A alongside Malaysia, Korea, Japan and Scotland in what shapes as a highly competitive group with little margin for error.
Pool B will feature France, Ireland, South Africa and the United States.

2026 FIH NATIONS CUP - AUCKLAND
New Zealand will host the 2026 Women’s FIH Nations Cup, bringing eight international teams to the North Harbour National Hockey Centre on the North Shore of Auckland from 15–21 June 2026.
New Zealand will compete in Pool B alongside Chile, Korea and France, as they prepare to defend their title in front of a home crowd.
Pool A will feature India, Japan, the United States and Uruguay.

2026 FIH WORLD CUP NETHERLANDS & BELGIUM
The Vantage Black Sticks Women have been drawn into Pool C alongside Belgium, Spain and Ireland, with all matches to be played at the Belfius Hockey Arena in Wavre, Belgium.
The women will open their campaign against host nation Belgium before facing Ireland and Spain in what shapes as a highly competitive pool.

vs Ireland – 18 August, 9:00pm
vs Spain – 21 August, 12:00am
The Vantage Black Sticks Men have been drawn into Pool A alongside Netherlands, Argentina and Japan, with matches to be played at the Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen, Netherlands.
The men will open their tournament against host nation Netherlands, before taking on Japan and Argentina.

2026 CHANGZHOU INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT
The Vantage Black Sticks Women will travel to China to compete in the Changzhou Invitational Tournament!
The tournament is set to take place from 26 April to 4 May at the Wujin Hockey Training Base in Jiangsu Province, Changzhou and will be live streamed on Hockey TV.
New Zealand will compete against a strong international field, including Argentina, Korea, China A, China B, and the Jiangsu Hockey Club, with six teams in total contesting the tournament.

vs Jiangsu – 29 April, 11:00pm
vs Argentina – 1 May, 9:00pm
This will be followed by semi-finals, final matches and classification matches. Each team will play 6 games in total.

MEN'S SUMMER OF HOCKEY
The Vantage Black Sticks men’s Summer of Hockey is coming to Hamilton!
Japan and the Vantage Black Sticks will compete in a three-match test series from the 30th January to 2nd February at the Gallagher Hockey Centre. International Hockey returns to New Zealand! All matches will be live streamed on hockeynz.tv.

The stage is set on Dunedin for the Vantage Black Sticks women’s Summer of Hockey!
Japan, United States, New Zealand A and the Vantage Black Sticks will compete in a three-nation, four-team series from the 21st to 25th January at the Alexander McMillan Hockey Centre. SULTAN AZLAN SHAH CUP
The 2024 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup will be the 30th edition of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup, the annual men's invitational international field hockey tournament hosted by Malaysia. The tournament will return after a one-year hiatus after it was postponed in 2023 due to the packed hockey calendar. It will be held at the Azlan Shah Stadium in Ipoh, Malaysia from 4 to 11 May 2024. The tournament will consist of six teams.
